Getting here
By Car
From the south, take Interstate 95 to Bangor. At exit 182A, follow I-395 around Bangor/Brewer to Route 1A. Take 1A into Ellsworth where it joins with Route 3. Stay on Route 3 all the way onto Mount Desert Island.
At the head of the island, at a traffic light, bear left, staying on Route 3 into the town of Bar Harbor. Turn left at the Bar Harbor Bicycle Shop onto Cottage Street. Go to the stop sign at the end of Cottage Street where it meets Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street — ACS is located immediately on your right at 67 Main Street, the corner building.
By Air
The Hancock County-Bar Harbor Airport is located fifteen minutes from the village of Bar Harbor. Colgan Air, a US Airways Express carrier, serves this small facility with connecting flights to Boston’s Logan Airport. Bangor International Airport, with major carrier service, is an hour drive from downtown Bar Harbor.
By Bus
Bar Harbor is served by Vermont Transit Lines with service to Bangor, Portland, Boston and beyond.
